Today was abnormal, as in I didn’t just sit on my butt all day. Though because I didn’t sit on my butt all day, my butt is now broken. I started this morning by thinking about the free pizza that comes after helping with the CAHSEE bootcamp majigger.
There were six grueling sessions of people who did not care about doing math (unlike asians who do math) or understood the content so much I knew they were there just for the pizza.
After the pizza, I went home and took a two hour nap. My friend came over and started working on our physics project. We didn’t get much done…
Then I went to Pasadena Ice Skating rink…. THEY MOVED AND CHANGED IT. Whatever, ok. So after stamping my hand…….. all hell broke loose. By hell, I mean my balance went loose. I still don’t know how to skate and I’m pretty sure my butt is more comfortable than my bed. Hmph, I need to learn how to skate.
Despues de patinar en hiel, we went to eat at Au79 place. I had a chicken cutlet with curry and thai tea… THAT’S ABOUT IT…
Now back to my regularly scheduled programming of sitting on my butt all day.
I dressed in all black for my sister’s Winter Recital. She asked me to help out a month ago and I agreed.
It was pretty nice. Little children learning how to play instruments… :D My sister is an aspiring music teacher and today was her first real test. I’d say I contributed quite a bit. haha. I put together a quick presentation with accompanying videos with the songs a girl sang. The two songs were Reflection from Mulan and Defying Gravity from Wicked.
Such a little girl with a high pitched voice… just beautiful. I also found my sister’s violin in the afternoon! Well… it was my violin at one point too! I played it during middle school, and she took it back ever since. It was reported missing for the past two weeks and I stepped in earlier… and I found it.
I went to eat pho after the recital.. sriracha all the things! Okay… FRINGE in 10 minutes, I go watch now.
Today was quite eventful boring and the only highlights were getting my bike fixed and getting a haircut.
The person who did my haircut was working on my hair intricately! He took small strides and stuff… now my hair, as quoted by my sister, looks like something from a boy band.
Ah well, I’m pretty bored now.
